About Optical Sorting

Optical Sorting is run by the team behind IndianPotato (indianpotato.com), the potato trade platform. Its sister platform is Potato Sorting (potatosorting.com).

How the platform works

• Buyers compare brands and models, see the price bands sellers in India list, and ask us for a free shortlist. Their details stay with us.
• Brands list on a yearly Basic or Featured plan (for brands). Listed brands are named in our shortlists and buyers contact them directly.
• Dealers tell us where they sell and service; we connect them with brands looking for partners (for dealers).

How we check

• Specs and prices come from the brand's own website or brochure, or the seller's own listing, never from a forum or another directory.
• Each row carries the address we read it from and the date we checked it.
• Where no price is published we write "On request" and never guess.
• Where a listing contradicts itself we show the range or the seller's claim and say so.
• A plan buys placement on the platform. It never changes a published fact about any machine.
